About Me

A few words about me for anyone interested.

I've been making nude celebrity fakes since 2002 after seeing a few fakes on the internet.  I liked what I saw & decided I wanted to learn to make fakes myself. I started with a free program from a magazine cover disc (MicroGrafX) then moved onto PaintShop Pro. Now though I use Photoshop for faking.

I make fakes when time and privacy permits, which isn't as often as I'd like so I don't have as many fakes as some more prolific fakirs yet. However with guest fakirs and an growing archive section there's plenty to see.

Until the recent closure of The Shadow Blades forum I was a Clan Elder, admin and longest continually serving member of the Shadow Blades Faker's Guild.

I was also an admin at celebfakirs.com for a while when it first opened, though that forum has also now closed . The NFC (New Fake City) is one of the main places I now like to hang out (and compete).

In November 2006 Celebfakirs.com published an interview which I'd given them a month or so before. For anyone interested in knowing a little more about me, I've included the interview below...

The Interview

CelebFakirs.com: Why the Faking Alias?

twoDice: Before I posted my first fake I played around with various identities, considering several aspects like getting a yahoo email addy for the name, what sort of logo I’d use etc. After discarding dozens of possibles (some didn’t sound right, some were taken) I was getting frustrated.

I was quite heavily into tabletop RPG games at the time and sitting at the PC during a break in play, trying to come up with a name, I was throwing a couple of dice around and thought “hey those ‘two dice’ would be easy to incorporate in a fake as a logo”. For some reason to do with a font I was using I decided I was gonna write it with a small “t” & Capital “D” and stuck with it.

CelebFakirs.com: What was the first fake you ever saw and who faked it?

twoDice: That was Shania Twain by Tasty Fakes, I don’t know if Tasty Fakes was a site name or a fakir name.

CelebFakirs.com: How did you find out celebrity faking existed?

twoDice: After seeing that first fake I started looking for more. I hadn’t had a PC for long and didn’t have a clue about newsgroups but I started to find a few and realized there were plenty around. Finding the newsgroups opened my eyes to just how big celeb faking really was.

CelebFakirs.com: What made you get into faking?

twoDice: I was keen to learn image manipulation (for tweaking photos and stuff) and using naked girls and celebs to do that appealed to me…a lot. I’ve always been keen on naked celebs, hitting the rewind button frequently during the juicy bits in films. I’m not at all artistic but this was a way I could create something, even though it was only combining materials that already existed. As soon as I tried it I was hooked.

CelebFakirs.com: Who was the lucky celeb who was first faked by yourself?

twoDice: That was Sarah Michelle Gellar, made with MicroGrafx 4 from a magazine cover disc, on a Windows Me system that had a habit of crashing almost every hour. Those were the days.

CelebFakirs.com: When did you do your first fake?

twoDice: Somewhere around the middle of 2002, I think. I posted it on one of the faking newsgroups and received some very positive feedback and some constructive criticism which encouraged me to try again. Several well known fakirs were good enough to pass on advice and tips and spent time helping with my "works-in-progress" which proved invaluable. I learned a lot then but faking is a continuous learning experience so I'm still learning, like most others in this game.

CelebFakirs.com: Who has been the biggest influence in your faking career to date?

twoDice: I’ve been influenced by loads of fakirs, some by the advice they’ve given me, some from the tutorials they’ve made, some just by looking at their fakes and deciding what effects I like. Far too many to name. I’d have to mention the guys on Yahoo, particularly AM who’s been providing constructive help and advice and helping me spot all the small details in my fakes for several years, helping make me a better faker while I’ve tried to do the same in return. Thanks bro.

CelebFakirs.com: Who would you consider to be the best fakir around at the moment?

twoDice: Every time I think that someone is looking like the best around, someone else posts a flawless masterpiece which makes me rethink. I doubt any one person is the best but there are some excellent top-notch fakirs around right now. I don’t get to see as many fakes as I’d like so I’m probably missing plenty. Some of my favourites are Proto, Hypo, TFP, Dr. Heinz, AM, EvilEye, Fredd38, Mr. Owl etc

CelebFakirs.com: Who would you consider to be the best fakir of all time?

twoDice: Vincent & Proto probably.

CelebFakirs.com: And for the future, do you see any fresh faces that you think will go on to be the best one day?

twoDice: Lots of more recent fakirs are picking it up rapidly. A few shooting stars I’m very impressed with include Splanky, Holden, Teeceethree, DSNY.

CelebFakirs.com: What do you consider to be your best fake to date?

twoDice: Hard choice but I think at the moment maybe one of my Jennifer Garner Sauna series, this one turned out pretty good.

CelebFakirs.com: What has been the highlight of your career so far?

twoDice: Joining the Shadow Blades, winning a Player’s Player Award in KNFC3 & getting to know so many cool people in the faking community.

CelebFakirs.com: Why the alter-ego choice?

twoDice: When I joined the Shadow Blades someone made me an avatar of this cool looking blue dude. I loved it but didn’t know who it was. After asking around I found out he’s called Dice from the Midnight Club racing games (though the body is normally adapted from Vin Diesel). I’ve stuck with it since.

CelebFakirs.com: If you could marry any celeb who would it be?

twoDice: Jessica Alba, Kylie Minogue or Kristin Kreuk. Hard to choose just one but the selection process would be a long and enjoyable event.

CelebFakirs.com: And who would be your bit on the side?

twoDice: Angelina Jolie for the thrills and excitement.

CelebFakirs.com: Where do you see yourself in 5, 10 years time?

twoDice: Probably still faking, hopefully a lot quicker and a lot better than now but who knows? Things change. As long as I’m enjoying it and still learning new skills, I’ll keep doing it.

CelebFakirs.com: Where do you see the faking world being in 5, 10 years time?

twoDice: It’ll still be around but the quality of the pictures and the tools will be so good that almost anyone will be able to do it. Maybe there will be programs that do it all automatically for you. Where would be the fun or skill in that though?

CelebFakirs.com: Is there anything that you would like to add?

twoDice: Yeah, visit my website, it’s free, lol.

CelebFakirs.com: Finally.... Celebrity fakes, art or porn?

twoDice: Well for most people it’s porn and that’s the way I saw it when I started. But after looking at an image on +800 zoom it’s all just a bunch of pixels. Faking has spoiled porn for me. Now I always think “hey, that’d be a great Bodyshot for xxx” or “how could I use that BS?” etc rather than enjoying the porn itself.
For me it’s more of a fun hobby, a sense of creating something I’m happy with rather than a porn image. Does that make it Art? Probably not.
